Socials

Whenever Phi Mu's are together we have a fun and classy time. With the beginning of each new semester comes an exciting social calendar. Our Social Chair pairs Phi Mu with all the different fraternities or sororities to host themed parties. These socials allow our sisters to be creative with our outfits and meet other Greek life members. A few of our past social themes have been Wild About Phi Mu, The Great Fratsby, "Not-So" Superhero, Honey I Shrunk the Greeks, Rock of Ages, Tacky Tourists, and Kentucky Derby.

In Alpha Upsilon we understand that some of our members would like their friends who are not Greek to be able to share the amazing social experience that they have. For this reason, each semester we have a big event called Date Party that non-Greeks may be invited to come celebrate in our sisterhood. Our theme this year was Phi Mu Never Goes Out of Style, and our sisters and their guests dressed up from various decades.

Near the end of the fall, we host a Semi-Formal to reward all the Phi Mu's for their hard work during the semester. In the spring, around the time of our Founder's Day, we host a Carnation Ball in remembrance of our three founders and all the amazing things Phi Mu has accomplished since its establishment. At this event, little sisters in Phi Mu are presented their families while being escorted by their big sister and their father.
