New Member Experience

The Phi Program – This eight-week new member program enhances the Phi Mu Experience by helping new members transition into Fraternity membership.  The online component includes an orientation, expectations of membership and journal prompts which help our new members begin their lifetime involvement in Phi Mu.  The online modules in partnership with Phi meetings provide new members with the framework for personal, academic, social and professional growth.  

The Phi Program prepares new member for initiation and shows them the true meaning of Phi Mu. New members are also encouraged to attend sisterhood events, philanthropies, and other activities that will strengthen the bond of our chapter. Phi Mu women, Phis included, are required to maintain a 2.75 GPA or higher within the chapter, and the required 2.5 minimum GPA for the university. New members are expected to meet financial obligations which will aid in the chapter's growth and success both on campus and nationally, and are essential to providing the complete new member experience.
